Born November 1? Your 2026-27 Vedic Dasha Forecast and the Three Dates That Decide Your Year

If you were born on November 1, most birthday horoscopes hand you a Scorpio sun-sign paragraph and call it a forecast. A Vedic reading works differently: it asks when in the day you were born, which nakshatra the Moon was sitting in, and which planetary period (dasha) your life is currently running through. Those three things, not your sun sign, set the dates that actually matter.

TL;DR
  • The Sun enters Scorpio around November 16, which means an early-November birthday usually carries a Libra Sun in the Vedic zodiac, not Scorpio.
  • Your Moon nakshatra for November 1 lands in Vishakha (Libra-Scorpio cusp) or Anuradha (early Scorpio), depending on the year and time of birth.
  • Your dasha depends on your birth year: Vimshottari periods run 7, 10, 18, 19, 20 and 23 years, so a 1990s birthday is likely in a Venus or Mars stretch.
  • Three windows in 2026-27 are worth planning around: February to mid-March 2026, October to November 2026, and April to May 2027.
  • Each dasha gets one decisive action and one gemstone or mantra remedy, not a mood board.

First, the correction most November 1 readings skip

Cafe Astrology publishes a November 1 birthday horoscope, and it is written for a Western Scorpio. That is fine within its system. In the sidereal (Vedic) zodiac the Sun sits roughly 24 degrees behind the tropical position, and it only crosses into Scorpio around November 16. So an early-November birthday typically has the Sun in Libra and the Moon somewhere on the Libra-to-Scorpio boundary.

Why that matters: your Sun sign shapes your outward identity in Western astrology, but Vedic readings lean heavily on the Moon nakshatra and the dasha sequence for timing. A Scorpio-sun paragraph tells you about personality. A nakshatra-and-dasha reading tells you when to move.

Where November 1 falls in the nakshatra wheel

The Moon moves about 13 degrees 20 minutes per day, which is why the nakshatra shifts within a 24-hour window. On November 1 the Moon is generally passing through one of two:

Vishakha (Libra 20° to Scorpio 3°20′)
Ruled by Jupiter, deity Indragni. Known for ambition, patience with long games, and a competitive streak that only shows when the stakes are real. Vishakha natives tend to want a result before they want applause.
Anuradha (Scorpio 3°20′ to 16°40′)
Ruled by Saturn, deity Mitra. Friendship, loyalty and quiet persistence. Anuradha people often build through networks and alliances rather than solo effort, and they handle delayed rewards better than most.

If your birth time is not on your kundli, get it. The difference between a Vishakha and an Anuradha reading is the difference between a career forecast built on ambition and one built on partnership, and you will read the wrong one for years without noticing.

Which dasha are you running?

Vimshottari dasha is the planetary period system Vedic astrology uses for timing. Each of the nine planets gets a fixed number of years, and your birth nakshatra determines which planet starts the sequence. The full cycle is 120 years.

Dasha lordYearsWhat it tends to push
Ketu7Detachment, spiritual turns, sudden exits from jobs or relationships
Venus (Shukra)20Comfort, marriage, creative work, property, income growth
Sun (Surya)6Authority, visibility, father-related matters, government or promotion
Moon (Chandra)10Emotional life, family, property, public-facing work
Mars (Mangal)7Action, competition, property purchase, conflict risk
Rahu18Ambition, foreign links, technology, unconventional routes
Jupiter (Guru)16Marriage, children, education, expansion
Saturn (Shani)19Discipline, slow durable gains, career through endurance
Mercury (Budha)17Business, communication, trade, learning

Because the sequence is fixed and the birth position determines the start, you can roughly bracket where you are. A 1990-born November 1 reader in 2026 is likely to be in a Venus or Mars stretch depending on the exact Moon degree and the sub-period (antardasha) running inside it. The sub-period is what you actually feel month to month. A big Venus dasha can still feel tense during a Mars antardasha inside it.

The three running periods for November 1 birthdays

  1. Ketu dasha (readers born in the years where Ketu opens the sequence, usually nakshatras starting with Ashwini, Magha and Mula; not typical for November 1 Moons, but worth ruling out). If you are in Ketu, 2026-27 is a cutting year. Expect exits.
  2. Venus dasha. The most common for a Scorpio-boundary Moon in the 1990s. This is a growth period. If you are here, 2026 is the year to lock in a long-term commitment: marriage, a house, a business, a job with a five-year horizon.
  3. Mars dasha. Common for some 2000s birthdays. This is a build-and-fight period. Property decisions, promotions through competition and physical projects come up. Mars dashes reward the move you have been rehearsing.

If you do not know your dasha, the reading is a guess. Paste your birth details into an Instant Astrology kundli and you will get your dasha lord, the current antardasha, and the exact end date of each in under a minute. That single piece of data is worth more than any annual sun-sign paragraph.

The 2026-27 transit path: Scorpio to Sagittarius

For November 1 birthdays with a Scorpio Moon, the Sun's transit through Scorpio each November is a personal reset. In 2026 it runs from around November 16 to December 15. Cafe Astrology notes that November 2026 is a month of intensity and turning points for Scorpio natives, with requests to be careful during the retrograde windows. That reading is Western, but the underlying calendar is the same one Vedic readings use.

Here is the Vedic framing: as the Sun enters Scorpio and then Sagittarius, the transit moves through houses 1 and 2 relative to your Scorpio Moon, then into house 3 relative to a Sagittarius Ascendant, and so on. The house depends on your lagna. The dates do not.

WindowTransit and dasha triggerWhat to do
Mid-Jan to mid-March 2026Sun moves through Capricorn and Aquarius. For a Scorpio Moon this is house 3 and 4. Dasha-wise this is where the antardasha calls in the house-lord of family or property.Sign the property document, settle a family split, or finalise a lease. Do not start a new business here.
Oct to Nov 2026Sun enters Scorpio around November 16. Venus retrograde in a fixed sign can delay contract signatures and push back marriage discussions. Check the Venus retro station before you book anything.Make the career ask: promotion, raise, client pitch. Avoid signing contracts on the retrograde days, wait for the station direct.
April to May 2027Sun in Aries to Taurus. Jupiter and Saturn aspects start settling. This is the money year-end, where the dasha backs the move from the previous annual cycle.Review the salary or fee, file the tax work, close the loan refinance. This is the consolidate window.

Three windows, three actions. If you skimp on any one, the next year's reading just repeats the same advice.

The November 1 year is not about what will happen to you. It is about the three dates when your dasha, your nakshatra and the transit all point the same way. Everything else is noise.

One decisive action and one remedy per dasha

Remedies in Vedic astrology are not decoration. They are an anchor, a physical ritual that forces you to do the same action on the same day every week, which compounds. Pick one per dasha and keep it.
